HP LaserJet M220 toner — W1840A and W1840X
The HP LaserJet M220 is a single-function monochrome device rated 31 ppm on A4 at 600 × 600 dpi, with a monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages. It takes both cartridges in the family: the standard W1840A at 1,050 pages and the high-yield W1840X at 2,300 pages. Because the duty cycle is modest but continuous, most buyers settle on the W1840X — more than double the pages per cartridge means roughly half the cartridge changes for the same output.
HP LaserJet MFP M246 toner — W1840A and W1840X
The HP LaserJet MFP M246 is the multifunction member of the same platform and shares the identical cartridge set, so one stocking list covers both the print-only and the all-in-one device. Remanufactured cartridges are rebuilt on recovered OEM cores with fresh toner, a new drum and consumable parts replaced. The carbon footprint is materially lower than a new-build cartridge, and the unit cost is the lowest of the two — the right pick for cost-driven markets and high-volume consumable programmes.
Patented new-built cartridges are made on our own patented housing with a smart counting chip, first to market with the new platform. There is no reused core, the chip is recognised instantly on installation, and the build is designed for safe, reliable listings in distribution and managed-print channels where an IP position matters.
